Job description

Our client in the Spicewood area is a large restaurant group and they are looking to bring on an experienced accountant to help their growing team. This position involves supporting restaurant managers and other accounting teams with resolving accounting issues and enforcing accounting policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to manage several projects at one time. This is a Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm that is fully remote after two days of training at their office. Job Description:

• Accurately code and categorize transactions including expenses
• Facilitate and complete period end close procedures
• Prepare/review general ledgers and journal entries and related supporting schedules
• Monthly analysis of assigned restaurant P&L statements
• Assist senior management, general managers, and vendor with questions or issues

Job Requirements:

• 4 years of accounting experience prefered
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Crystal Report Writing and Sage 100 is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
• Experience with Microsoft Office Excel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
