Location: We are seeking an experienced and energetic HR / NPO Program-Administrative Assistant -for Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium
Principal Function:
Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) serve as a valuable resource for supplementing the workforce and filling staffing needs, primarily within the Sodexo Live! sports-related venues. The NPO Administrative Assistant will assist in attracting and partnering with local 501c3 Non-Profit Organizations to offer fundraising opportunities in exchange for providing workers to man Quick Serve food and beverage stations during games and events. The NPO Administrative Assistant will make themselves highly visible throughout the local community, as they will directly assist the NPO Coordinator in employing creative techniques to continually source and recruit new partnership organizations. They will work to develop effective and sustainable relationships with group leaders so that these partnerships are retained throughout the season, mutually benefitting both the Company and the group. Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager and NPO Coordinator the NPO Administrative Assistant is additionally responsible for the administration and compliance of non-profit group contracts, scheduling, training, payment, communication and all other matters pertaining to these groups.
Essential Responsibilities:
Assist in the recruitment, induction and administration of Non-Profit Organization partners.
Facilitate paperwork and associated processes for proper documentation of Non-Profit Organization partnerships.
Participate in special projects related to the development and implementation of district, regional and organizational HR business strategies.
Contribute to the goal of making Sodexo LIve! #1 in Event Hospitality and the #1 Employer of Choice through personal commitment and leading by example.
Qualifications/Skills:
1-2 years of previous work experience in an Administrative Assistant role.
Previous work experience in a fast-paced, complex food and beverage service environment.
Polished and professional image.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize and work successfully both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent customer service skills
Exceptional ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
Keen ability to connect easily with others and create positive positioning within a particular context or subject matter.
Technologically savvy, with high proficiency in all Microsoft Office.
Other requirements include but are not limited to:
Subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment.
