SUMMARY/SCOPE:
The Master of Science (M.S.) education program in speech-language pathology at Hardin-Simmons University is an Applicant for Candidacy by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, 2200 Research Boulevard, #310, Rockville, MD 20850, 800-498-2071 or 301-296- 5700.
Hardin-Simmons University College of Health Professions is seeking a Clinical Director for the Graduate Program in Speech-Language Pathology to oversee the HSU Speech-Language Clinic. The Clinical Director will be responsible for building and growing the university clinic as well as externships for graduate students. This position is a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure position.
The HSU-SLP Clinic Director will provide positive, responsive, and innovative leadership to all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Clinic. As the Clinic Director you will have the opportunity to grow and develop the Clinic. Working closely with the Program Director, the Clinic Director will ensure that accreditation standards related to clinical practicums on and off campus are met. Teaching opportunities in both the graduate and undergraduate programs are included in the Clinic Director responsibilities.
