The Barista will ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly and efficient guest service to guests and team members. This position “owns” the area when working, providing high level (comparable to 4-star, 4-diamond service, at a minimum). Position may be responsible for receiving and filling guest orders for the day.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Provides prompt, efficient and friendly guest service by exhibiting caring, concern & patience in all guest interactions and treating guests impeccably

· Smiles and greets guests in a friendly, manner whether the encounter takes place in the employee’s designated department or elsewhere in the store

· Takes guest order at the counter

· Works with co-workers as a team to ensure guest satisfaction and a pleasant work environment

· Making of coffee and specialty coffee drinks

· Handles food in a safe manner and ensures the work areas are always clean and neat

· Reviews the status and appearance of the food for freshness

· Ensures that an adequate food supply is ready and on hand (orders product and supplies as necessary)

· Maintains strict adherence to department and company guidelines related to personal hygiene and dress

· Cleanliness of area may necessitate dishwashing

· Other duties as may be assigned

• Multi-tasking skills, and ability to share focus on many tasks/initiatives simultaneously
• Self-starter, innovator, results-driven with ability to meet both short and long term business goals
• Ability to manage time well, meet imposed deadlines and ability to work flexible hours

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
