This Bookkeeper position is being offered as a short-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity, and will be located the San Ramon, California area.What you get to do every day
- Oversee and manage general ledger
- Examine payments received and record deposits
- Look after archived records by categorizing documents
- Produce financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
- Oversee and maintain a well-run system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures
- Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
- Balance accounts by reconciling entries
- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
- Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
- Prior experience working with collections/accounting software
- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
- QuickBooks Pro experience desired
- Bookkeeping Functions experience
- Month end closings experience
- Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
