RS Display, Inc. is looking for an experienced Exhibit/Cabinet Maker to add to our team. We are a premier custom exhibit fabricator specializing in trade show exhibits, special events, museum fixtures and corporate interiors.

Job Responsibilities

• Use hand and power tools to construct cabinets, fixtures and structures of materials such as wood, plywood, and laminate

• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, sketches, to determine job specs and material requirements

• Utilize appropriate tools to measure and prepare layout and to measure, cut, shape and assemble materials

• Follow standards and procedures for constructing exhibits; make repair adjustments as necessary

• Determine material requirements, anticipate needed supplies; work with purchasing to order as necessary

• Ensure efficient and safe operation of equipment, maintain a safe, clean, work environment

• Able to work long and flexible hours as needed

Skills and experience required

• 2 years of experience in cabinet building or exhibit fabrication

• Strong understanding of carpentry and wood-working

• Ability to follow directions and stay productive with minimal supervision

• Ability to thrive in an enthusiastic and dynamic team environment, along with a desire to make a personal impact on the company

• Good communication skills

• Attention to detail

• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve

• High degree of initiative and self-motivation and a strong desire to succeed

• Experience handling complex projects, time management and ability to prioritize tasks

• Willingness to learn on the job and desire to constantly improve
