Job description
We are looking for a Legal Assistant/Advocate for sex abuse survivors. The position includes conducting intake services and guiding sex abuse survivors through the legal claims process in California under the new “Sex Abuse and Cover Up Accountability Act.” Candidates must possess true compassion and empathy for survivors of sexual abuse – and believe that institutions that enabled it and covered up the abuse should be held accountable. It is preferred that candidates have good technology skills and prior experience advocating for survivors. Candidates must reside in California. This position is predominantly remote work, but may include some office work and in-person visits with abuse survivors.
