Greenleaf Psychological & Support Services is expanding. Would you like to lead Greenleaf in growth?

We are a large psychological private practice and we looking for a CEO who is also a seasoned Mental Health Clinician or an executive with a strong history with HIPAA and Mental Health ethics and leadership.

At Greenleaf, Our mission is 2-part.

1) Our heart is to serve our community and bring them into wholeness and wellness at the self and family levels. We enjoy incorporating faith-based counseling upon request (usually biblical). We honor clinicians' faith identities while practicing ethically in a community that needs both secular and sometimes (upon request only) faith-integrated therapy.

2) We are also developing into a training center for clinicians of all levels (seasoned clinicians who invest in younger clinicians, and younger clinicians who grow into seasoned clinicians and do the same). We will be developing an intern and postdoc program, as well as a CEU program. We enjoy offering much room for advancement so your gifts can grow with Greenleaf!

In this spirit, we have recently expanded one office from 7 to 14 clinical rooms, and are opening a 10-room therapy office in Raleigh in Oct 2022. Hence we are making space for this vision, and we are expanding our clinical administrative/supervisory team. We are thrilled that you are thinking of applying!

We are ready to welcome to our team, a CEO who will:

  • Double our company annually
  • Set KPIs for financials and all the day-to-day operations of GPSS
  • Open new clinics while increasing margin
  • Understand and use data-based decision-making and communicate into KPIS
  • Build, model, set and meet KPIS for a great company culture
  • provide inspired leadership to our executive team (4 psychologists, and practice manager)
  • set a course for company strategy while understanding and applying ethical thinking according to APA, AACC, and HR law and ethics
  • Provide inspired, faithful leadership company-wide
  • Make high-level decisions about policy and strategy and hold team accountable
  • Report to and work closely with owner (Dr Barbara Lowe)
  • Develop and implement operational policies and a strategic plan in a data-based manner
  • Act as the primary spokesperson for the company
  • Develop and update the company's vision
  • Help with recruiting new executive staff members when necessary
  • Create an environment that promotes great performance, faithfulness, and positive morale that is measurable
  • Oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing, and work with CFO
  • Ensure each team has a posibitve P and L
  • Assure all legal, ethical, and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws, regulations, and all ethical codes and licensing boards (develop compliance team)
  • Work with the executive board to determine values and mission per department, and plan for short and long-term goals
  • Systematically and through data-based means, identify and address problems and opportunities for the company
  • Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations (other practices, schools, family practices, churches, etc) in the community
  • Work closely with the human resource department to ensure great hiring and a strong HR department

CEO Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or master's degree in a relevant discipline or MBA as well as employment history in mental health
  • Experience in a senior management position
  • Experience with direct reports who are heads of departments and using data-based KPIs
  • Savvy with profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting at the corporate level
  • Ability to build consensus and relationships among executives, partners, and the workforce
  • Understanding of human resources and personnel management
  • Experience with corporate governance
  • Proven soft and negotiation skills
  • Ability to understand new issues quickly and make wise decisions
  • Ability to inspire confidence, faithfulness and create trust
  • Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, and delegate
  • Ability to engage in high-level ethical problem solving and thinking
  • Experience with program management and development

KPIs you will be responsible for:

  • Increasing financial margins monthly, overall and by department
  • Increase ethical and HIPAA compliance as evidenced by data collection that CEO designs and implements (and also develop compliance strategies and department)
  • Increase therapist retention measured semi-annually
  • Decrease client complaints, measured monthly (we receive few complaints)
  • Increase positive GPSS ratings online ethically, and lawfully
  • Increase positive cultural rituals and staff-reported positivity based on quarterly data (and define how to collect that data)
  • Increase social media and email following 100% semi-annually
  • Increase quality referrals as measured monthly
  • Increase collection percentage as measured monthly
  • Ensure that all forms and manuals are updated at least semi-annually according to law, ethics, and practice and client needs
  • Etc.

COVID-19 considerations:
Most clinicians have the majority of their sessions thru telehealth. Office space and time is available to those who are comfortable with in-person sessions. PPE is provided and required for any on site activity.
