Content Creator
PerTronix Performance Brands makes aftermarket auto parts that take vehicles to the next level. From drag races to classic car shows to desert off-roading, our products are there, and we’re looking for a skilled content creator to tell their stories. This position can be everything an entrepreneurial videographer/photographer wants it to be. Capture footage of sparks flying in the factory one day, go live from the pits the next. Sure, most days you’ll be editing clips or scheduling posts in the office, but the ideal candidate knows that crafting the right message & delivering it at the perfect time are just as exciting and important as being behind (or in front of) the lens. Title: Content Creator

Compensation: Commensurate with Experience
Location: Hiring for both our San Dimas, CA and Lenexa, KS locations
Responsibilities:
- Be a key part of the marketing team, helping develop content plans for all company projects, products, launches, and initiatives
- Produce high quality, innovative content, new marketing strategies, and ads to foster growth
- Write copy and schedule posts
- Create & maintain relationships with influencers
- Manage own list of tasks and schedule in coordination with leadership
- Ensure all communications meet brand guidelines, standards and tone
- Track KPIs & identify success metrics from social channels, Google Analytics and other sources
- Develop reporting to inform strategy
- Other duties as assigned
All candidates must have:
- Experience in video/photography production.
- Familiarity with analytics & social media scheduling platforms.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
- Creativity & commitment to excellence
- Outstanding communication & project management skills
- Capability of driving multiple concurrent initiatives from start to finish
- Ability to use a camera & editing software to produce quality images and videos
- Strong knowledge of all social media platforms
- Comfort taking and giving creative direction
- Eagerness to be on camera
- Willingness to travel about 25% of the time, plus ability to work in our Kansas City-area office as needed
- Portfolio of previous work
The superior candidate will also have:
- A passion for car culture
- 2+ years creating social media content professionally
- Experience using Hootsuite or other social media scheduling apps
- Experience reformatting existing footage for multiple longform & shortform applications
- Proven track record of growing audiences on social media platforms
The perfect candidate will also have:
- Extensive automotive aftermarket knowledge
- Experience managing social media for multiple brands at the same time
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications or related field
- Proven track record of growing audiences on TikTok

Pay: $34,056.00 - $50,000.00 per year
