We are seeking a Research Assistant to support our Clinical Research Coordinators at [LOCATION]. The position would be located primarily in Hanover, MD but will be asked to travel to other offices to offer support to our other Clinical Research Coordinators as needed. The hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00AM- 4:00PM.

Clinical Research Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies to increase patient randomization for clinical trials.
  • Sets up, operates and maintains various scientific apparatus.
  • Work under specific instructions to assist research coordinator with execution of clinical research protocols.
  • Enter data from forms and documents into database/eCRF
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies within CURA in conjunction with marketing and IT departments within CUA
  • Follow SOPs/GCPs/HIPPA according to the site, sponsor and FDA.
  • As part of your positions requirements, you are expected to travel to other sites within a reasonable geographic region.
  • Perform other office duties as assigned by manager or lead research coordinator.

Clinical Research Assistant Requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 6 months clinical research experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of Medical Terminology.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer software and database skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
  • Ability to understand and follow basic scientific research protocol and procedure
  • Ability to travel to other sites as necessary.
