CLINICAL STAFF FOR COVID-19 TESTING

PRN-AS NEEDED

Location: Los Angeles, California 90043

FLSA Status: PRN

Summary/Objective:

ChastainMD is looking for Clinical Staff for COVID-19 Testing. We are looking for someone who will be courteous and provide our clients with the utmost care while being tested for COVID-19. Someone who is good with details, ensuring client privacy, and organizing patient specimens.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for COVID-19 testing via nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal swabs. This position will assist with the flow of patients arriving onsite for testing. This position will educate patients on the process of testing. Works in a team environment with proper PPE.
• Setting up/preparing the testing center
• Checking in patients with registered testing appointments
• Administering the Nasopharyngeal/Oropharyngeal Swab while the patient remains in the vehicle
• Collect and prepare specimens and relevant documentation, assuring accuracy in labeling and documenting
• Comply with all designated safety policies and procedures in the work area, including the use of applicable protective equipment when necessary to prevent exposure to potentially infectious agents
• Maintain all HIPAA standards
• Performs other related duties as necessary

Qualifications:

• Allied Health, CNA, LPN, RN, EMT
• General knowledge of COVID-19 testing, including Nasopharyngeal/Oropharyngeal Swabs.
• Excellent patient care skills.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• It may require prolonged periods of standing, moving, and bending.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
