HOURS: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday - Friday

SALARY: $55,000

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• become versed on all manufactured product group(s) as assigned
• handle incoming calls for assigned group or product in regard to stock/custom orders, quotations to be worked up, inquiries in regard to pending orders, respond to request for samples from prospective customers, and gather needed information for cost accounting area
• learn to utilize the computer system for functions in your area
• deal directly with other departments to follow through on situations affecting the Sales Service Department area
• log orders for credit approval and follow up daily with Credit Department
• attach incoming confirmations to orders in file
• learn quoting of custom orders and the calculation of raw materials for purchases to cover custom orders, also learns the scheduling of production for stock/custom runs
• maintains files (open and closed) in an orderly fashion for easy access
• alerts management, sales force or representative (via voice mail) as to the flow of pending orders and quotations
• reviews ship list master for assigned area
• generates RG for applicable accounts

COMPETENCIES: Good phone and speech skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• high school graduate or GED
• 3-5 years Customer Service experience in a call center environment where goods are sold
• flexible packaging background a plus
• business knowledge a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 per year
