What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Defense and Security Segment, where they will formulate and apply mathematical modeling to identify trends and areas of improvement, support management decision-making, and improve program effectiveness for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Border Patrol.
The Data Analyst must have the following experience:
Conducting data and statistical analysis to identify key performance indicators and meaningful insights
Developing data visualizations to communicate findings, trends, and indicators to senior leaders using Tableau/PowerBI/Qlik or similar
Aggregating, cleaning, and organizing datasets from disparate sources
Supporting comprehensive program evaluations identify trends and report on program performance, gaps, opportunities, and insights
Organizing and leading client meetings, including scheduling meetings, drafting and delivering agendas and meeting minutes, providing and archiving required documentation, and documenting, tracking, and following up on action items
Managing multiple concurrent assignments while ensuring technical accuracy, adherence to standards, and timely delivery of all products with deliverables requiring little rework
What You Will Need:
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust
3 years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications
Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar programming and analytical languages
Proficiency in Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik
Experience consulting for the federal government
Excellent communication skills across all levels of business, both written and verbal
Ability to adapt quickly and develop successful professional relationships
Experience working in DHS or CBP
