THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN MORTON, IL 61550, AND IS NOT IN BLOOMINGTON, IL!

PAY:

• $22.70 per hour plus overtime (time and half pay), an average of 50 hours per week
• Eligible for a merit increase or hourly position has the option to transition to salary with commissions and bonus potential as early as 90 days
• Salary average $65k+

RETENTION BONUS: $2,500

Receive half after the 60-day probationary period and the rest after 6 months of tenure.

WORK SCHEDULE:

• Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday
• Most new hires will work Tuesday thru Saturday

JOB SUMMARY:

This is a full-time, direct hire, position as a relief driver filling in for delivery drivers who are not available for their shifts (due to vacation, illness, etc.). Routes for the relief driver typically change from day to day.

This role includes delivering products to stores on an established or contingency route or via dynamic dispatch to customers like convenience and gas stores, small supermarkets, and/or drug stores.

A day in the life includes driving a heavy delivery vehicle to a location, unloading products, displaying products in stores, generating on-site invoices, and collecting payments within the specified shift time frame while following all DOT regulations.

GOOD TO KNOW:

• You will be driving and delivering in all types of weather conditions.
• This position is labor intensive. You will be lifting, loading, and pushing or pulling cases ranging from 20-45 pounds repeatedly during work hours. You will also be reaching, squatting, and bending while delivering and merchandising products in the store.
• This is a client-facing position where customer service and relationship management are core responsibilities.
• This role starts no later than 5:30 AM and the average work week is 50 hours.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Have a valid CDL class A.
• Pass the required physical capabilities test.
• Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test.
