Head of Cloud Operations and Automation
- manages and oversees the Cloud Automaton, Engineering & DevOps team. Designs, builds, and maintains a stable and efficient infrastructure to optimize service delivery across production, QA, and Dev environments.

Key responsibilities include monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous integration, packaging, and deployment of code.

Implements automated infrastructure capabilities like backups, security tools, monitoring, creating and standardizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Additionally, creating automation templates, standards and out of the box tools to create a consistent DevOps approach to improve all phases of the process and ensure end-to-end quality across functions.

Requirements:

Knowledge of deployment/configuration management tools like Atlassian Bitbucket Pipelines, Bamboo, Jenkins, Maven, Puppet, HashiCorp Terraform, or Ansible is required.

Utilizes version control tools like GIT, Bitbucket and AWS CodeDeploy.

Experienced with core cloud infrastructure especially AWS, Azure.

Knowledge of auto-scaling, self-updating, self-repairing, including managing change control and configuration management.

Knowledge of core network infrastructure, database, cloud and data center operations.

Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows OS.

Experience with programming and scripting with languages like Python, Perl, Bash, PHP, Java, SQL, or C#.


This role manages a team of 5 team members in the day-to-day performance of their jobs, performance reviews and meeting organization imperatives.


The anticipated salary range for this position is $107,000 to $134,000; depending upon the selected candidate’s relevant experience, the exact salary for the role may fall outside of this range. This role will also be eligible to participate in the Company’s bonus/incentive program(s).
