Hours of Operation: _ Monday - Thursday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Friday's 7:00 am - 2:00 pm Half Shifts available _

Job Description:

• Be an ambassador of MAC Dental!
• 60 mins for Adult Prophy's
• Ensure patients feel Comfortable
• Warmly greets patients and prepares them for treatment
• Conducts the initial mouth screenings and checks oral health history
• Collaborates with Dentists and Dental Assistants
• Clean and help protect the patient’s teeth by removing plaque and/or applying fluoride
• Helps to diagnose periodontal disease
• Recognizes when care/work is recommended
• Assists in examination and treatment under direction of the Doctor
• Clean and sterilizes instruments and equipment, which does include maintenance on equipment
• Maintains dental and medical records of patients in the electronic medical record
• Educates patients in proper oral care and post-treatment care
• Assists in scheduling future appointments
• Submits treatment plans to for pre-determination of benefits
• Maintains dental supplies and materials
• Other duties as assigned by Office Manager or the doctors to insure the efficient operation of the office
