Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled salesperson to join our dental office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a mix of clerical duties and sales duties to ensure that the office runs smoothly while driving sales and revenue growth. This position will require a combination of administrative skills, salesmanship, and customer service skills. The compensation package will consist of a base salary of $35,000 per year with commission opportunities that have the potential to bring the total annual earnings to over $100,000+.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors, answer phone calls, schedule appointments and assist in maintaining patient records
- Educate patients on products and services offered by the dental office and make appropriate recommendations to them
- Identify potential sales opportunities and upsell products and services to patients
- Prepare and present treatment plans and financing options to patients
- Track and report on sales activities, goals and results
- Participate in regular team meetings to review progress and strategize on sales and customer service initiatives
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; Associates degree or higher is preferred
- Previous experience in sales and/or customer service in a healthcare environment, preferably in a dental office setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- A willingness to learn and adapt to changing technologies and industry trends
Compensation:
The salesperson for dental office position will have a compensation structure consisting of a base salary of $35,000 per year and commission opportunities that have the potential to bring the total annual earnings to over $100,000+.
