Job description
The Data Processor is responsible for providing clerical and data entry support. This position is assigned to the Domestic Intervention Education and Training program and is grant funded annually.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Review for accuracy and completion the program referral, intake and termination forms.
- Enter intake, assessment and termination data into the Department of Rehabilitation and Correction Management Information System within 14 calendar days of participant’s admission to the program.
- Provide quality control of data to assure that the Department of Rehabilitation and Correction Management Information System data is accurate when compared to probation case file information.
- Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets of specific information of participants admitted to the program.
- Maintain individual files on each program participant.
- Maintain confidentiality of information processed.
- Process, mail and forward all program correspondences to the appropriate staff or referral source.
- Conduct DIET Intake interviews with referred participants, collect demographic data, maintain group schedules and make participant placements accordingly.
- Communicate regularly with program facilitators and provide support services as needed.
- Provide quality service that continuously improves, that meets or exceeds public expectations, and that ensures all are treated with courtesy, dignity, and respect.

Good written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Must be knowledgeable and be able to demonstrate the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Must be able to prepare spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel software.
- Ability to operate office equipment.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School graduate required, Associate Degree preferred in secretarial science/office management. Strong typing skills that includes data entry, key board skills and ability to type 50wpm.

Qualified applicants will be required to submit to testing and may be required to provide writing samples. Proof of education and employment references will be required before final interview. Employment predicated upon successful completion of criminal record check, drug testing, proof of full dose of COVID-19 Vaccination required. You'll be considered a probationary employee for your first 180 days of employment.
