Why ShipMonk?

ShipMonk is the world's largest 3PL for high-growth e-commerce and DTC brands. Since our inception in 2014, we've operated with a singular guiding principle: to help small and medium-sized e-commerce businesses scale by offering technology-driven fulfillment solutions that enable business founders to devote more time to the things that matter most in their businesses. Put simply, ShipMonk helps e-commerce companies stress less and grow more. Headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, FL, ShipMonk has more than 2,500 employees across facilities in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Pittston, PA, Los Angeles, CA, Bay Shore, NY, Las Vegas, NV, Dayton, NJ, Louisville, KY, Fort Worth, TX, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, Tecate, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Prague, Czech Republic.

This role will report to the VP of Marketing on a collaborative and growing marketing team. You will own our paid advertising efforts as well as email and marketing automation with the primary goal of increasing high-quality inbound leads, moving them through the funnel, and generating new customers.

What you'll do:

  • Manage Paid Campaigns: You’ll identify and execute campaign management tactics daily across multiple campaign types (e.g. search, social, display, video) including—but not limited to—account structure, settings, keywords, creative, bidding, landing pages, A/B testing, tracking, and analysis.
  • Experimentation: Whether it’s new targeting, ad copy, calls to action, email flows, behavioral triggers, or form optimization, not a day will go by when you are not leading new experiments—win, lose, or simply learning.
  • Generate High-Quality Leads & Hit Growth Targets: We’ve got some aggressive goals, and you’re pumped to try to exceed them with quick and precise execution. You might even find opportunities for growth and efficiency that we haven’t thought of yet, and chart your own course to realize them.
  • Reporting and Analysis: You will partner with our ops team to ensure all tactics are measurable and own the reporting and analysis of your initiatives. You will bring a rigorous analytical process to the team.
  • Budgeting and Planning: With so many novel opportunities, you’ll need to be able to assess potential ROI, support budget requests, and allocate resources to the highest-value activities.

What you'll need:

  • Master Classer: You’re aware of the latest PPC best practices. You’re confident you can make an impact. But you’re also humble enough to know you need to be subscribed to publications like Search Engine Land—because this industry changes, fast.
  • Detail Lover: You understand that one false keystroke can topple an entire attribution empire. One trigger mistake can send your demo reminder email to existing customers. And one industry-setting mistake can end up selling jewelry services to apparel CEOs. This is not a “fast and loose” role, and you like it that way.
  • Number Cruncher: After your last two to four years in the industry, you know digital marketing is a numbers game. Mental math might not come naturally, but it helps if it does. (Formulas and pivot tables do, too.)
  • Revenue & Efficiency Driver: The beauty—and the challenge—of channels like PPC is how easily they’re tied to leads and revenue. That thrills you because you’re going to directly impact the bottom line, your coworkers, and the lives of thousands of people.
  • Ambitious Executer: You’ve crushed campaign management in paid search and email before, have some B2B experience under your belt and are ready to take on more channels, more budget, or both.
  • Multi-Channeler: You're focused on all things paid digital, but you have experience in other digital channels. Maybe you've done a rotation in social, or you've managed an email empire. Our ideal candidate is a bit of a hybrid who has experience in the wider digital marketing spectrum.
