Director of Professional Education and Clinical Support

Position Summary:

This is a senior level position in the company and is a critical component of our success. Professional education is a cornerstone of our Fertility value proposition, and we are highly regarded in the market for the training we offer. Our training covers all stages of the IVF process and is designed to help educate customers about how to optimize processes using our fertility and genomics products in the clinic.

The Director of Professional Education & Clinical Support will be responsible for establishing a relevant training program meeting the needs of the market and ensuring that the right resources are available for training courses.

Essential Functions:

    • Must be able to solicit input from stakeholders in the company as to which educational requirements are requested. This includes talking to, on a regular basis, the global team who also provide educational services. The Director of Professional Education and Clinical
  • Support should understand what has worked well globally and what can be successfully implemented in the US.
    • Based on the identified training needs the Professional Education Director, is responsible for establishing a training calendar and ensuring the adequate resources for training.
    • Communicating educational program internally, hereunder to sales and marketing to allow them to promote Professional Education and Clinical Support programs.
    • Oversees Fair Market Value analysis conducted by Event Manager and executes contracts for HCP consultants for training and event related activities
    • Supervises event manager
    • A strong understanding of the IVF process and of trends and developments is required.
    • Must be respected as a knowledgeable leader and be professional and persuasive in front of an audience.
    • Follow up after educational events to understand ROI from sales and marketing. This should include communication on the event and key issues or learnings that occurred that may lead to a a sales or marketing opportunity.
    • Participate in US commercial events and congresses An annual budget will be developed as part of the business planning process each year. This will include an overall strategy for the Professional Education and Clinical Support team and plan for programing as well as a financial budget. In the planning process, the Director of Professional Education and Clinical Support must come to an agreement with VP Sales and VP Marketing as to the Professional Education and Clinical Support plan for the following year.
    • Collaborates with Product Marketing, and Marcom team members
    • Performs additional duties or assignments as directed by management.

Qualifications:

    • Master degree is required. Additional training in embryology and working in an IVF clinic is required. PhD and Lab Director level will be an advantage.
    • Proven ability to effect change with a collaborative mindset
    • Able to travel 60+ days nationally and internationally.
    • Must be able to have a deep grasp of clinical studies and be able to articulate the findings to clinical staff
    • Must be self-motivated, work independently and manage their own calendar
    • Passionate about education and continual learning and improving in skill set

Our Benefits:

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $220,000 - $226,000. The actual base pay includes many factors, and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
