About us

Poochie's Pampered Pups is a cage free doggy daycare and grooming company located in South sunny Sarasota. We're on a ranch-type setting, 2.5 acres for dogs of all sizes and breeds to run and play under supervision. Our horse barn has been converted into air conditioned play and grooming space. We also have pool time in our people pool! Dogs are separated by size and temperament to ensure safe play.

We're looking for someone with enthusiasm and the love for dogs!

Hours are 7am-Noon Monday- Friday.

This job is really tough, you have to run and play with dogs all day! You are required to show up on time, learn dogs' names, breeds and personalities.

Must be able to throw the ball for pups. Manage safe play (no humping or bullying). Refill water bowls as needed. Pick up pee and pooh. Then the hard part, there is a lot of cleaning. Wipe down walls, windows, gates and spraying down the yard. Everything must be clean all the time!

Doggy Daycare Attendants:

-Engage with dogs

-Ensure safe play

-Clean up pooh, pee or whatever else comes out

-Wipe down doors, walls, windows, and gates

-Keep everything clean and smelling nice

-Work as team to get dogs in and out when called.

-Monitor pool time

-Labeling leashes/collars

-Feeding lunches

-Maybe moping floors and vacuuming at end of day

**Be ready for in-person interviews. We need to see you interact with dogs. Dress comfortable, able to get dirty (dogs may jump on you), close-toed shoes, t-shirt and long shorts/pants.**

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
