We have a great opportunity at our Redmond, WA flagship location for a Driver with a daytime schedule of 5:00am - 1:30pm. We aren't just your typical catering company – we produce, on average, over 600 meals a day (from scratch!) and represent a global cuisine in a beautiful state of the art kitchen! As part of our corporate dining team, to one of the largest social media companies in the area, your position will help us meet our mission of providing fresh healthy made from scratch meals by packing, loading, unloading, and delivering our meals from our production kitchen to our 22 cafes.

Pay range:
$20.00 - $23.50, based on skill, experience, and/or education.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 5:00am - 1:30pm

What Your Day Look Like:

  • Check in with our internal work chat sites for any pertinent information
  • Inspect shipping cooler and dry goods room looking for any issues with missed deliveries, temperature issues, spills, etc.
  • Group and organize deliveries
  • Build racks or carts with product, equipment or supplies according to the Pick List in both the cooler and dry goods area
  • Verify accuracy of pick lists that are marked
  • Verify with each Department Lead that all departments have completed their preparation of products before departing the loading area
  • Wrap carts and racks for delivery
  • Load and organize delivery vehicles with products, equipment and supplies taking into consideration of what stops need to be made and in which order
  • Communicate with each Lead of campus cafes when to expect delivery arrivals
  • Unloads the vehicle immediately after arrival at the destination
  • Locate Lead, Jr. Sous Chef(s) or Sous Chef so they can receive the delivery (Deliveries are not to ever be left unattended)
  • Load delivery vehicle with any carts, racks, etc. that are ready to go back to the production kitchen
  • Prepare setting for the next delivery
  • Communicate with Lead about any needs and refers to the Extra Work list to see if any projects need to be taken care of
  • Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicles and loading area

What we're looking for:

  • 1+ years of relative experience in full service, moderate to high volume Catering or Delivery company
  • High sense of urgency
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Required to submit personal driving record
  • Valid King County Food Handler Permit
  • Some heavy lifting (may lift 10-40 lbs.) and possible moving of equipment required
  • Standing, walking, bending, twisting, and balance are all required to perform job task
  • Standing a minimum of 8 hours a day
