We are currently looking for an Emerging Talent and Relationship Consultant to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team. Your passion for diversity, equity and inclusion along with your ability to build strong relationships and easily make connections across the organization and with external partners will make you a successful candidate for this role! You’ll be responsible for building and delivering best in class external talent pipelines that include diverse and early career talent, as well as optimizing these pipelines to source for individuals with emerging skills to help enhance and grow our organization. You also will provide direction, support and thought leadership in the design and delivery of external diversity, equity, and inclusion enhancements to the internal Talent Acquisition team. This is a hybrid position and will work remotely and report to the Cedar Rapids, IA or Madison, WI office to interact with team members in-person. Candidates must reside in Iowa or Wisconsin.
Travel is estimated to be 10-15% for this position. Most of this travel will consist of day trips with occasional overnight travel required.
What you will do

Manage the end-to-end strategy, implementation, and delivery of the Emerging Talent Program including outreach and partnerships with targeted programs, schools and community partners

Create and manage developing talent channels such as early careers, emerging skills, external DEI talent (traditional and non-traditional)

Bridge external partnerships to create talent pipelines into the organization, supported by a strategic marketing campaign

Build and establish relationships with internal leaders to collaborate on strategic plans to achieve success metrics at target schools, conferences and strategic partnerships

Consults with internal business leaders to identify opportunities for entry level professional talent, emerging skills and diverse talent with a focus on engaging/re-engaging candidates through strategic design

Develop & manage external engagement metrics, measuring initiatives and programs; including the byproduct of pipelining and quantifying that talent into hires

Attend recruitment events including; career fairs, partner events, etc.

Maintain relationships with universities, colleges, technical schools and DEI partners to fill the future pipeline

Utilize sources for recruiting candidates and maintain working relationships with key organizations and contacts to support the broader talent acquisition team

Apply company programs, practices, and procedures related to the recruitment life cycle in compliance with federal, state and local law

Stay well-informed of best in class recruitment trends and process improvements with direction and support from manager

Creates and maintains marketing campaigns related to dedicated channels (Alumni, Boomerang, HBCU, etc.)

Focus on building internal talent acquisition programming, including pilot programs for removing unconscious bias during the process

Other duties may include: recruitment, managing survey data
Education
-
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience
-
3 years of professional experience in a human resources related field with an emphasis in Talent Acquisition or Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Focus on early talent pipeline, university relations, or campus recruiting experience is a plus.
