WeidnerCA, a leader in design, fabrication and installation of high-end custom signage serving the western United States since 1955, has an exciting opportunity for a successful professional to join our Team as an Estimator in our Sacramento, California headquarters.

Summary:

The Estimator is responsible for developing take-offs from plans and specifications, obtaining vendor pricing and coordinating with production personnel to develop the project pricing using our proprietary estimating software. Previous experience and qualifications will be a factor in determining the successful candidates starting compensation. Requirements:

To be considered for this position, at a minimum, the potential candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• Estimating experience in a manufacturing or construction environment, preferably with custom products.
• Ability to read and understand blue prints.
• A mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify the small details and offer solutions that streamline our product manufacturing.
• Superb time management and organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment in a group setting and/or independently to meet concurrent deadlines.
• Good math skills and a high level of computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• A disciplined work ethic and enthusiastic attitude. An “I own it” attitude is a must.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in the sign industry is a plus.
