Carson’s Restaurant Manager will lead and direct daily operations of our upscale restaurant and consistently deliver an exceptional guest and employee experience; lead and develop front of house (FOH) and work in unison with back of house (BOH) teams, and assist ownership in driving sales, managing costs, and growing business.

What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience managing full-service fine dining and/or upscale casual restaurants or an eager motivated willingness to learn and train
- Excellent personal integrity, professionalism, punctuality, and maturity
- Trustworthy
- Superior interpersonal communication skills and happy positive attitude
- Friendly, outgoing, and energetic personality, welcoming of all people and diverse backgrounds
- Passion for food and hospitality industry
- Neat, Clean, Well Organized and responsible
- Work respectively well with others and has sense of pride in successful team leading
- Food Handler, Alcohol, Allergen, Bartender license and Sanitation Certifications current, pending, or willingness to obtain
- Wine knowledge and upscale dining experience a plus
- Experience as a user or administrator in Toast and OpenTable
- Experience managing delivery partner platform Uber Eats
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Organize, run and supervise smooth efficient daily shifts (including opening and/or closing shifts), ensuring exceptional guest and employee experience
- Consistent Professionalism, tact, and good judgment dealing with challenges pertaining to guests, vendors, employees, and respond with patience and courtesy
- Maintain proficiency in job functions of FOH and BOH positions and provide active backup support when business needs require
- Assist ownership in managing costs, driving sales and growing business in support of financial goals
- Partner with ownership and management team to interview, hire, onboard, train, schedule, supervise and develop FOH and BOH hourly employees
- Monitor, address and document individual hourly employee performance through ongoing feedback, positive recognition, coaching and, when necessary, disciplinary action up to and including employment termination
- Effectively balance, pare and maintain security of all cash banks
- Ensure proper food storage, quality and presentation standards, including temperature controls
- Monitor and ensure the restaurant and the team’s compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as all legal and regulatory requirements (including but not limited to safety and sanitation regulations and responsible alcohol management) and represent the company in interactions with legal and regulatory authorities
- Work a variety of days and shifts (including mornings, late nights and weekends) as needed
- Multitask and communicate calmly and effectively in busy, stressful environments
- Follow rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment, including those outlined in Employee Handbook
- Other duties assigned as needed
