This position is responsible for the safe assembly and shipping of various Imperial Systems equipment and purchased items as required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safe operation of forklifts, hoists, shrink wrap heat gun, banding equipment and various other hand tools used in the assembling, moving, and shipping of product.
• Basic maintenance of all equipment and tools used
• Ability to read and interpret general assembly drawings
• Prepare product for shipment and load trailers/trucks
• Perform and document essential quality and process checks to specifications
• Work as part of a team of 2 or more a significant amount of time
• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping
• Follow all SOP’s and JSA’s
• Operation of forklifts and hoists
• Checking quality of work to drawings/specification and part quantity
• Complete paperwork as required; timecards, process checks, check sheets, etc.
• Other tasks as instructed by supervision

Qualifications:

• Education: High School or GED, Vo-Tech/Trade School (preferred)
• Experience: 1-2 years industrial/manufacturing environment
• Specific Skills: Hoist operation (preferred), Forklift (preferred)
• Physical Abilities: Standing/Bending full shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, communication with others, some repetitive motion; some processes may require PPE
