White Sands, a HumanGood life plan community (CCRC) in beautiful La Jolla, CA, is seeking individuals to join our dining services team. As the largest nonprofit owner/operator of senior living communities in California and one of the largest in the country, we are more than just a place to work. Schedule:
Full-Time Position

Compensation:
$18.20 - $20.35

Job Duties:
Set tray cards; read tray service memo, set tray line and dish up soup, dinners, salads, desserts, coffee, water;

Fill out menu; set tables for next meal; checks for supplies;

Assist in preparation of food;

Deliver and pick up food carts;

Maintain cleanliness of dining room and kitchen; adhere to sanitary guidelines;

Ensure resident satisfaction by reflecting professionalism and customer service;

Requirements:
6 months experience in related field preferred; Fast food or restaurant experience preferred;

Experience working with seniors preferred;

Food Handler’s or ServSafe certification preferred;

Ability to communicate effectively (orally and written) with residents;

Available on holidays, evenings and weekends (we will work with your schedule.
