TITLE: RECEPTIONIST

DEPARTMENT: CUSTOMER SERVICE

REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF CUSTOMER SERVICE

SUMMARY:

The Customer Service Receptionist (CSR) is responsible for providing world-class customer service and satisfaction to all Mechanix Wear customers. This position is often the first person a Mechanix Wear customer interacts with. The role requires all CSR’s to be knowledgeable about our products, our uniquely different business segments and resulting customer needs. Ideal CSR candidates are confident, friendly, outgoing and willing to assist and attend to all customer requests. This fast-paced department communicates globally with our customers and processes all forms of customer orders on a daily basis which requires the ability to adapt, understand and respond in an increasingly dynamic environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive and respond to all points of contact from our customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Must be able to handle high volume incoming calls and direct calls appropriately.
  • Oversee mail deliveries, packages and couriers.
  • Manage office supply inventory.
  • Input all retail and e-commerce orders and assist walk-in customers.
  • Verify pricing, advise stock levels and provide tracking on orders.
  • Attend to exchanges and returns for all customers as well as provide professional care for all customers experiencing warranty issues.
  • Actively supports Mechanix Wear’s commitment to quality and all quality objectives, with an emphasis on continual improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Customer Service Director or other Management staff.
  • A CSR’s ultimate goal is to create satisfied customers by operating in a manner that exceeds the customer’s expectations.

QUALIFICATION GUIDELINES:

  • Associates Degree or related field with two or more years of experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of customer service techniques.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
  • Proficiency in another language or languages helpful.
  • Must have the ability to complete assignments within time frames specified by management.
  • Must be able to interact effectively and cooperatively with customers and employees at all levels.
  • Must be flexible with work schedules.
  • Must be able to operate in a fast-paced organization and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
