Job description
Brooks Eye Care needs a front desk receptionist/optician apprentice to join our team. We run a friendly office with no weekend hours and one optometrist. We are a private optometry practice and not an optical chain. We place great service and high quality eye care as our top priorities. The successful candidate should be prepared to work 40 hours per week. Our office hours are: M: 9am-5pm, Tu 9am-7pm, W 9am-5pm, Th 9am-5pm and F: 8am-1pm.
Job duties include patient scheduling, answering phones, verifying medical and vision insurance and collecting outstanding monies. You will also assist managing our optical dispensary and ship out orders for glasses and contact lenses. Eventually job duties may expand to pretesting for the optometrist and contact lens insertion/removal training. We expect friendly service and attention to detail. If you enjoy serving patients of all ages and have at least one year of experience in an optometry practice, we want to talk to you.
