Xcel Energy anticipates the need for one or more Gas Street Helper(s) to be located at the following locations depending on who our top candidate is:

• 
  Newport Service Center in Newport, MN.
• Rice Street Service Center in St.Paul, MN
• White Bear Lake Service Center in White Bear Lake, MN
• Wyoming Service Center in Wyoming, MN

The hourly pay for this position is $26.32 hourly. This position will be posted for 10 working days from June 30th,2022 to July 14th, 2022.

Summary

Gas Operations will be hiring one or more full time, union positions, as Gas Street Helpers in the East Metro Minnesota area. These are manual labor positions associated with the installation, repair and maintenance of the gas distribution system.

Required

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license. Applicant must be able to acquire a CDL endorsement.
• Must be able to be respirator qualified and able to work in confined spaces
• Must be in excellent physical condition and able to safely lift up to 90 pounds
• Must have a minimum of 1-year experience in gas construction preferred
