Metal Building Fabrication and Installation Company

Knowledge of metal building business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
Evaluate and improve financial performance by maintaining budgets and optimize expense
Continuously conduct financial reviews to remain current on the state of the business
Prepare, review, and adjust financial budget for staffing requirements
Collaborate with legal and /or collection agencies on overdue accounts and support collection efforts
Track and review monthly and year to date invoicing and accounts receivable
Responsible for the financial management, planning, systems and controls of the branch
Prepare regular reports for ownership
Ensure all protocols are followed as it relates to insurance, legislation, or licensing
Keep employees up to date with corporate and industry changes
Conduct weekly operational meetings with direct reports to review previous month's leads,
sales, insurance company scoring results, customer survey and satisfaction sheets and to
keep employees up to date with corporate and industry changes
Oversee day-to-day operations and evaluate how to improve performance.
Ensure all protocols are followed as it relates to insurance, legislation, or licensing
Design strategy and set goals for growth
Review equipment and vehicle allocations and make recommendations on replacement,
growth or downsizing for upcoming year
Participates in and demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices;

follows all safety policies and procedures to support a safe working environment,

including safe operation of machines and equipment
Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
Direct the employee assessment process
Set policies and processes

Requirements and skills

Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role Experience in planning and budgeting Strong analytical ability Excellent communication skills Outstanding organizational and leadership skills Problem-solving aptitude BSc/BA in Business or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
