Job description
Responsibilities:
- Patrolling and monitoring activities on the company’s premises regularly to discourage criminals and ensure the environment is safe and secure.
- Evicting trespassers and violators and detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive to take over.
- Controlling the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles according to protocols.
- Providing detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred to management.
- Using provided communication devices such as two-way radios in a clear and concise manner.
- Greeting arriving guests and retrieving their luggage.
- Escorting guests to their rooms, explaining the room facilities.
- Deliver luggage, messages, faxes, and packages to guests and undertake various other requests in order to ensure their comfort.
- Transport departing guests’ luggage from the room to the lobby, ensuring that the guest has verified that all luggage has been accounted for.
- Assist with keeping lobby area clean and orderly.
- Ensure that luggage has been stored safely according to prescribed procedures.
- Be fully aware of what functions are going on in the hotel.
- Provide gracious, attentive, and friendly service.
- Other duties as required.
Job Type: The position is a full time position.
Shift: Sunday through Thursday 9P to 5A
