Contract: 18+ Month

Job Description: This job function provides development of LC-MS/MS analytical methods, and quantitative analysis of new chemical entities in weekly in-vitro ADME and pharmacology assays to support early drug discovery.

Education, Experience and Technical Requirements:

• BS in Biochemistry or Chemistry with 2-4 years of experience or MS with 1-3 years of experience in bioanalysis
• Experience with bioanalytical techniques (primarily LC/MS/MS)
• Experience with LC/MS/MS method development
• Experience with troubleshooting of bioanalytical instrumentation
• Familiarity with automation and liquid handling systems
• Ability to rapidly familiarize with various equipment, instrumentation and software
• Ability to schedule and coordinate multiple activities
• Ability to communicate effectively in a high-throughput environment with tight timelines

Primary Responsibilities:

• Sample preparation and analysis using *** supplied protocols
• Data review and processing according to *** supplied protocols
• Upload data into *** database and communicate results to multiple groups
• Maintain LC-MS/MS instrumentation and bioanalytical consumables inventory

Expectations:

• Analytical methods will be developed within 24 hrs from receipt of compounds from Sample Logistics and uploaded to *** database
• Assay samples are to be analyzed as soon as possible
• Assay results must be reviewed and communicated to screener 24 hrs from bioanalytical run completion

o Entire cycle time from method development to published assay results is less than seven (7) days.

Hard Skills:

• Experience with in vitro lab techniques
• Pipe heading
• Handling of hazardous chemicals

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Groton, CT 06340: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
