Requirements & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the following processes, including but not limited to; laying, hatching, feeding, watering, and harvesting insects under the direction of the Insect Production Manager, as well as all preparation and cleanup required for and from those tasks
• No experience necessary, just a willingness to learn and be a team player
• Must comply with safety procedures and maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Must touch and handle live insects
• Ability to perform duties with accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team as needed
• Ability to use good judgement and make independent decisions within proper policy and procedures
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs with minimal assistance
• Must be punctual and have reliable transportation
