PES is accepting applications to hire for the position of International Offshore Rigger.
SUMMARY
The rigger provides assistance to employees or clients in loading material, equipment and supplies in a safe manner.
- Attaches loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving, using hand and power tools.
- Controls the movement of heavy equipment or material through narrow openings or confined spaces.
- Dismantles and stores rigging equipment after use.
- Manipulates rigging lines, hoists and pulling gear to move or support equipment or materials.
- Signals or verbally directs individuals engaged in hoisting and moving loads in order to ensure safety of workers and materials.
- Routinely tests rigging equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
- Maintains clean work areas and practices good housekeeping.
- Works various schedules offshore in international locations that depend on project and client requirements.
- At least 2 years of rigging experience on offshore locations.
