IT HELP DESK TECHNICIAN – OREMOR AUTOMOTIVE GROUP

OREMOR Automotive Group is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to join the Team. The IT Help Desk Technician is responsible for providing quality technical support and customer service to all OREMOR Automotive Group team members. The individual in this position will work on a team in a help desk/call center environment troubleshooting software/hardware issues, performing break/fix tasks, doing phone move-add-change tasks, and receiving and processing calls/tickets. Customer Services skills, attention to detail, and organization skills are required at every level of this position.
A Day in the Office looks like this:
· Providing solutions and advice on technical issues via phone and email.
· Managing help desk tickets.
· Troubleshooting PC, phone, and printer issues and coordinating repairs with vendors.
· Creating and updating documentation for technical training.
· Provisioning and deprovisioning users.
· Maintaining hardware asset information.
· Training users on best practices.
· Supporting field technicians and occasionally visiting dealerships.
· Other tasks as determined by management.
The Ideal Candidate has:
· Experience using a Help Desk ticketing system.
· Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, VOIP systems, and remote desktop support.
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
· The ability to work with a small, highly agile team.
· The flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing requirements and strategies.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
· Exceptional teamwork and leadership skills to help others in the technical support team.
· Ability to learn new technologies and train end users.
· College degree strongly preferred.
· CompTIA A+ and Network+ certificates preferred.
· Experience with ITIL a plus.
· Knowledge of Dealership Management Systems (DMS) such as Tekion, CDK, and Reynolds a plus.
Some Essentials of this Role:
· Regularly required to sit; talk or hear, in person and by multi-media; use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate standard office equipment; and reach with hands and arms.
· Frequently required to walk, stand, and move about to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
· Must have ability to ascend and descend stairs.
· Appropriate vision abilities which include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
· Lift, move, and Relocate Computer equipment up to (50) pounds.
· Travel to and from dealerships/company locations as needed.
· This position may require occasional long hours to meet business needs, including being available for emergency needs.
· Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and driving record in compliance with Company policy.
