Mount St. Francis Nursing Center is a non-profit ministry providing long term care to persons of all faiths. The Janitor works as a team member responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of designated work areas within the Nursing Center to include resident rooms. common areas, offices, and break areas. Typical responsibilities include maintaining and cleaning assigned work areas, emptying garbage containers, disinfecting surfaces, removing dishes and linens, and moving beds, chairs, and tables, as needed. Will perform other related duties as assigned. This position will follow established infection control guidelines at all times.

Starting Pay Range: $15.50 to $16.00 per hour, based on relevant qualifications and experience.

Schedule: This position will work 5 days per week, generally 7 AM to 3 PM - some flexibility in scheduling will be considered.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous janitor/housekeeping work experience preferred
• Ability to stand and walk frequently
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs frequently
