Jr. Graphic Designer & Marketing Specialist
Performance Systems Development (PSD) is looking for a Jr. Graphic Designer & Marketing Specialist to join our growing and dynamic Marketing Team. We are seeking a high-performing individual with a positive can-do attitude, with key strengths and experience in graphic design, marketing, and communications.

What will you do?

The Jr. Graphic Designer & Marketing Specialist will play a key role in supporting multi-channel marketing with responsibility for creating design of all company and client related marketing which includes but is not limited to print advertising, digital advertising, social media, and marketing collateral. As part of PSD’s Marketing Team, the Jr. Graphic Design & Marketing Specialist will work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and goal driven environment on the delivery of energy efficiency solutions throughout the country. As a Jr. Graphic Design & Marketing Specialist for PSD, you will work closely with a group of highly skilled professionals to ensure marketing deliverables meet brand guidelines in a timely manner.

Position responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Support marketing department with responsibility for creating and updating content to align with brand and campaign specific initiatives
• Serve as in-house creative role supporting design of all marketing which includes but is not limited to print advertising, digital advertising, social media, collateral, email, and microsites
• Coordinate content updates with all co-brand and advertising partners to align with branding and campaign objectives
• Maintain design request calendar and manage timing of creative to meet desired deliverable dates
• Interact with lines of business and Marketing Manager in development of any requested print or digital collateral
• Design and create content within the context of company and client brand standards and compliance rules for internal and external collateral
• Coordinate collateral production and delivery logistics with print partners, lines of business, and program managers
• Periodic reviews to ensure brand standard consistency
• Maintain and update graphic standards for the organization as needed
• Assumes additional duties and responsibilities as appropriate

This position is remotely based with the option to work in person in Harrisburg, Ithaca, or Philadelphia.

Requirements

• Experience in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Marketing, or related field
• Previous work portfolio samples
• 2+ years of experience in a graphic design support role
• Proficient in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Office software, including Power Point
• Excellent creative design skills with ability to maintain corporate branding standards
• Must be able to multi-task, collaborate with team members and handle deadlines
• People-person with a can-do attitude and excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting

Nice to have

• Certificate or degree in Graphic Design or related field
• WordPress experience
• Video production skills
• Familiarity with Mailchimp or other email marketing platforms
• Previous experience with utility programs or energy efficiency work
• Architectural graphic design experience

Physical Demands: Frequent use of the computer requiring periods of sitting and close audio-visual concentration. Physical demands are minimal and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations.
