We currently have Kennel Attendant opportunities available at our Pet Hotel and Doggie Day Care.

Kennel Attendant Duties:

• Direct supervision and care of dog in play groups.

• Prepare food/water and administer medications.

• Clean and sanitize kennels, indoor/outdoor runs, bowls, toys, bedding, litter boxes, etc. We do loads of laundry and dishes all day, every day.

• Continuous monitoring of animal for signs of illness, injury, aggression, etc.

• Greet clients, answer telephone, schedule appointments, take payments, check-ins/outs, etc.

Other Information:

• Environment is fast-paced and can change quickly throughout the day.

• Regular lifting and restraint of animals over 40 lbs. either with or without assistance

• Extended periods of standing, bending, and kneeling.

• Extended periods of time outside in all types of weather – our dogs go outside several times daily regardless of rain, snow, or heat.

• Exposure to barking, whining, and unpleasant odors.

• Strong comfort level working with all types of dogs and cats is necessary.

• Ability to participate as part of a hard-working team is essential.

• Facility operates year-round 7 days per week - flexibility to work rotating weekends and 10-hour shifts required.

• Part-time or full-time positions available.
