Aventura at the Bay is looking for a Kitchen Utility Aide to join our team ensure that our kitchen is operating and maintained in a clean/sanitary condition

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversees cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and work areas including dishes, pots, pans, workspaces, utensils, walk-ins, floors, walls, etc.
• Waste/trash removal
• Organizing and stocking biweekly food deliveries
• Stocking nursing units with snacks and supplies for residents and patients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Working knowledge of sanitary practices relating to food handling
• Ability to pass a level II background check

NECESSARY SKILLS & QUALITIES:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Solid work history with excellent attendance and punctuality
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift/move items up to 50 lbs.
