Responsible for the complete upkeep and smooth functioning of the laundry department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Returns:

• Monitor and control expenses with a focus on increased productivity. • Controls expenses by controlling energy efficiency and cost control in linen and supplies

People:

• Archives performance and development goals. Helps manage conflict and improve team member performance. • Assist in training of new team members and support of all team members in compliance with company policy and brand standards. • May assist with deep-cleaning projects and cleaning of public areas. • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with supervisor and other departments.

Guest Experience / Rooms:

• Routinely perform all laundry room duties necessary, including stripping beds, ensuring washing of linens on proper formula setting, proper drying and folding procedures to ensure quality linen. • Assists with maintenance and upkeep of all laundry equipment. • Perform rotation cleaning duties on laundry equipment to ensure proper maintenance (lint removal, filter cleaning etc.). • Develop new methods to increase laundry efficiency and linen use. • Coordinate with maintenance team and supervisor on outstanding repairs on laundry equipment. • Authorize to enter in guestrooms for cleaning and providing turndown services as per requirement.

• Responsible for following the standard operating procedures. • Responsible for achieving and exceeding the guest satisfaction score.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
