DESCRIPTION DU POSTE

KP seeking a Extruder Operator Lead at our manufacturing facility in Holly Springs, VT. This is an opportunity to become part of a family friendly team, in an expanding company, with room for advancement.

Schedule: 8am–8pm & 8pm – 8am (Rotating days 2,3,2)
Job status: Full time – Permanent
Salary: $22.00 - $23.50 (Depending on experience)
***$1.00 shift differential***

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees daily activities of the production lines to ensure the team meets quality standards, safety guidelines, and follows procedures
  • Communicating/monitoring of performance issues and participates in continuous improvements activities
  • Monitoring extruder processing of material
  • Must train all new extruder operators, for your shift
  • Assist in maintaining production flow as required including able to work on production line
  • Provide positive leadership skills and high visibility to motivate employees to achieve departmental/personal objectives while following Standard Operating
  • Procedures and Safe Work Practices that will ensure consistent, high-quality production.
  • Maintain procedures to ensure that they are being carried
  • Ensure all production reports are 100% accurate and completed daily and communicate with previous and next shift leaders
  • Investigate production issues, identifying solutions, and remedies or reports any major issues to the shift Supervisor immediately
  • Safety-conscious, proactive and able to work well under pressure

PROFIL RECHERCHÉ

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years in manufacturing experience and leadership role
  • Proven ability in planning, organizing, communicating, motivating, controlling, problem-solving, negotiating and leadership in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of company policies, work instructions, in house quality inspection standards, VSI standards
