HX5 is currently seeking a Senior Life Cycle Logistician to join our team in Dayton, Ohio at Wright Patterson Air Force Base within the Special Operations Forces Directorate.

As a Life Cycle Logistician, you will

This position supports the Special Operations Forces Directorate at Wright Patterson AFB. This position requires knowledge and background in aircraft and aircraft system acquisition. The person in this position will:

• Provide Life Cycle Logistics technical expertise for the day-to-day management of the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements: Product Support Management; Sustaining Engineering; Design Interface; Supply Support; Maintenance Planning and Management; Support Equipment; Facilities and Infrastructure; Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation; Technical Data; Manpower and Personnel; Training and Training Support; and Computer Resources in accordance with AFI
• 63-101/20-10, AFPAM 63-128, and the Product Support Manager Guidebook.
• Provide assistance in the preparation of budget estimates and evaluation of cost, schedules, performance, and program risks.
• Provide advisory assistance on evaluating change proposals and drafting directives, military specifications and standards for logistics program impacts resulting from each proposed change.
• Monitor fielded systems and provide advisory assistance on determining if the systems meet product support metrics.

Education and/or Experience

• Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience.
  • High School Diploma and ten (8) years of related DoD life cycle logistics work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of relevant DoD life cycle logistics work experience.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years DoD Acquisition experience.

Must be a US Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance by start date.

Must be willing to travel up to 15 percent of the time. (This may include air travel)
