We are seeking talented and passionate Line Cooks to join our team at our one-of-a-kind waterfront inn in Smithfield, VA. Our ideal candidates should have a passion for culinary arts, excellent communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute high-quality dishes in a timely manner
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality
• Assist in the development of new menu items
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient service
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Participate in training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff
• Contribute to a positive and productive work environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role
• Exceptional knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Creativity and ability to develop new ideas and recipes
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
