Job Purpose

The Landscape Lot and Equipment Manager performs a wide variety of tasks related to procurement of company material and equipment. All duties will be performed based on professional training and experience, with minimal supervision.

Duties + Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the Procurement Director in helping procure jobs & ensure all materials are obtained before all jobs begin

• Follow Procurement procedures for plant acquisition, sorting and care.

• Maintain plant quality standards

• Manage organization and cleanliness of the lot

• Manage bulk bays and waste, recycling, and soil sifting

• Manage Lot, tool rental & material inventory.

• Manage and ensure weekly lot checklist is completed and tracked

• Attend and participate in safety team meetings

- Ensure lot and facility is safe at all times - monitoring camera/ alarm system

• Maintain a culture of lot safety for team members

• Enforce parking assignments and move trucks/trailers, as needed

• Manage Open PO report and unallocated report.

• Manage / Coordinate ecommerce and material deliveries to job sites

• Manage & track equipment issues in our internal reporting systems

• Maintain safety kits/MSDS binders and provide new updates as needed

• Manage and Maintain company key logs

• Keep work vehicle and equipment clean and organized

• Properly service and maintain all equipment

• Operate various types of landscape machinery/ equipment

• Perform landscaping lot tasks in accordance with Gardens of Babylon procedures and quality standards

• Perform various other duties related to procurement, lot or equipment management

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of supervisory/ management experience preferred

• Possess a valid Driver License

• Maintain qualifying MVR for company auto insurance.

• Plant knowledge preferred

• Equipment knowledge preferred

• Excellent Organizational skills

• Bilingual proficiency with English and Spanish is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Required to work outdoors through all types of seasonal weather

• Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time and extended periods of bending, stooping, and lifting

• Ability to lift 15-50 lbs. frequently

• Ability to lift 51-90 lbs. occasionally
