Our business operates in the luxury good space and the role requires you to handle items of extreme value including jewelry, diamonds and watches. Security of the merchandise is paramount as products are not owned by Worthy but rather our customers and vendor partners.

You will be receiving and opening a large volume of incoming packages following proper video security procedures. You will then create delivery receipt documentation and imagery, and with the use of gemological equipment, determine the basic authenticity of items, reporting any suspicious items to senior staff. Conversely, you will be creating packaging and preparing items for delivery to our customers and vendor partners. In all functions of the role you will be maintaining the highest levels of security by scanning the items through our business life cycle, with work independently checked by a co-worker.

What You’ll Do:

• Process day to day inventory flow into and out of Worthy: Receive packages and enters items into backend system, managing incoming and outgoing deliveries, including packaging and shipment of items to customers, partners and vendors.

• Using original packaging, accurately prepare items for shipment back to sellers, including pertinent invoices, certificates and domestic or international paperwork.

• Document receipt of individual packages via iPad photography, poly bagging and labeling for identification and security.

• Assess all incoming items for authenticity with diamond testing equipment, forwarding larger pieces and questionable items to Gemology Department.

• Clean jewelry using ultrasonic and steam cleaning equipment.

• Maintain a safe and clean work area and update supplies as needed.

What You Have:

• 1-3 years of experience in a shipping/receiving environment

• Luxury Goods experience preferred

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
