Manager, Private Equity Accounting

Some of the things you will be doing:

The Manager will be responsible for managing a US based team of accountants supporting a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and compliance functions for our clients in the Pacific time zone. The US based team will work with our India based team and be responsible for completing deliverables and supporting ad-hoc client requests. Deliverables are a broad range including, but not limited to, funding investments, preparing drawdown and distribution notices, NAV preparation including management fee and waterfall calculations, financial statement and workpaper preparation, compliance reporting and ad-hoc data requests.

• Manage and monitor the timing and quality of client deliverables via scheduling and review
• Daily coordination with internal teams to ensure seamless transfer of work while meeting client deliverables
• Interacting with clients on various accounting/operational issues including ad-hoc requests
• Perform process efficiency reviews and suggest enhancements
• Training staff as needed
• Preparation and review include, but not limited to, the following:
  • Financial statements, footnotes and partner statements including ILPA
  • Profit and loss allocations
  • Monthly NAV package
  • Capital activity including calls, distributions, transfers and rebalancing
  • Borrowing base workpapers
  • Wire packages
  • Fee calculations including European and American waterfall
  • Compliance reporting including Form PF, CPO PQR, AIFMD

What skills, education, and qualifications do you need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• CPA/CA/CFA a plus
• 4+ yrs experience in Financial Services / Capital Markets Industry
• Experience in Private Equity Accounting & Reporting
• Experience with Geneva/GWI, Investran, Yardi, ARC systems a plus
• Able to multitask and perform tasks under strict deadlines
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
