This will be 70% external and 30% internal position focused on census development with key medical providers locally, and in Taylorville/Springfield Illinois area. Day travel to other medical communities may also be required. Responsibilities include development of referral sources for census growth, and serving as a liaison between our medical partners, residents, their families, and our facility. Knowledge of long-term care is a plus. Must be able to articulate Medicare/Medicaid coverage guidelines and maintain some knowledge of other payors. Will assist with verification of benefits and admission paperwork as needed. This is a full-time position with benefits available after 90 days of employment. Customer service is at the forefront of this position, so a friendly, outgoing and “can-do” personality is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Sales background preferred, but not required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar position at a long-term care environment is required.
• Prior marketing experience in a long-term care community is preferred.
