Under the immediate supervision of The Head of Golf Operations and Assistant Golf Professionals, assists to organize and direct the order of players at Jersey Meadow Golf Course by providing service to the guests.

• Receive and execute starting tee times.
• Make appropriate pairings.
• Enforce all rules and regulations of play.
• Keep a record of all rounds play, including cart usage.
• Post the condition of play for the day.
• Keep pace of play moving.
• Make course loop in reverse order. Periodically update the pro shop with on course events such as slow groups, etc.
• Maintain adequate supply of scorecards, pencils, tees, ball markers, and tee time cards at the starters booth and the first tee.
• Clean up trash around facilities.
• Mark Golf Course to enforce play.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lifts and carries up to 50 pounds, and pulls, pushes, or drags up to 150 pounds of maintenance equipment. Crawls, kneels, squats, stoops, and twists for extended periods while supervising or inspecting work. Sits, stands, or walks for extended periods of time while supervising or writing reports. Works indoors and outdoors in extreme temperatures including heat, cold, temperature swings, or inclement weather. Some exposure to dust, odor, electrical, mechanical and toxic hazards, using proper safety precautions. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather.

Basic knowledge of golf course etiquette and regulations. Must have the ability to work weekends and holidays; and work split shifts (mornings and evenings).

Must possess a valid Texas Drivers License.

Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Must be able to perform simple arithmetic functions.
