Blended Rate: $4080 - $4320/wk.
Stipend: $1281/wk.
13-week contract.
4x12s – 48hrs – D/E/N - EOW
** BLS, RN License (NY), cardiac experience preferred as will be on Medicine Heart Unit. **
Job Summary:
Through clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research and evidence based practice, The Level II Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is accountable for provision of competent care based on established standards. The Level II Registered Nurse assumes an expanded role, which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care plans
· Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
· Monitoring and interpreting patients' vital signs
· Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
· Developing and maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
· Responding to emergency situations and administering first aid when necessary
· Providing emotional support to patients and families
· Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
· Facilitating patient education and health promotion activities
